The banquet gathered the best of India’s manufacturing and service enterprises, celebrating their success stories and recognizing projects that have created a significant impact on the organization’s performance. In its 2nd edition, the number of projects evaluated by the Jury increased to 72 against 41 in the previous year. The Project Evaluation and Recognition Program (PERP) is a unique platform designed with an objective to recognize projects undertaken by organizations, to achieve business goals, create competitive supply chains, enhance sustainability and facilitate change management in today’s complex business environment. PERP is acknowledged as a national platform for an unbiased evaluation of projects and the team effort that have contributed significantly towards enhancing business value across various functions in an organization. “The Project Evaluation & Recognition Program has been designed to encourage companies to identify and implement projects with potential for significant business impact. The objective is to share, learn and grow from peers and competitors in the country. The platform recognizes project teams that have made a mark with their innovative thought process and project implementation”, said Nitin Kalothia, Director, Manufacturing & Process Consulting Practice, Frost & Sullivan. The program invited projects, on 8 themes, namely, Supply Chain Leadership, Human Capital Leadership, Environment Leadership, Safety Leadership, Customer Value Leadership, Information Technology Leadership, Process Innovation Leadership and Operational Excellence Leadership. The robust and objective project evaluation is based upon impact on overall business, use of scientific tools and structured approach, achievement of desired results, overall execution methodology and feasibility of horizontal deployment.
