Renowned Architect Karan Grover, was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural Singapore Estrade Real Estate Awards 2015 held at the Grand Copthrone, Waterfront, Singapore on October 23, 2015 evening. Conceptualised and hosted by Estrade Media Pte. Ltd. Singapore, the awards also recognised the contribution of many developers, architects and interior designers from India.
Accepting the award, Architect Karan Grover said, “I have dedicated my 40 years of practice to looking after a 2000 year old buried city of Champaner which I was able to make a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been the association with this extraordinary city that has sown the seeds of sustainability in my work and led to my promise to President Clinton to spread the awareness of Green & Sustainable Buildings to over 20,000 architects and students annually. I have been quietly pursuing and leading the green movement in my country and feel special when institutions like ESTRADE acknowledge the passion and perseverance with which I pursue my mission. It is therefore with great humility that I accept the ESTRADE LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. This will be one of my most precious awards and will remind and reinforce me to continue with the same vigor and tenacity. My heartfelt thanks with gratitude”.

The Estrade Awards for Real Estate 2015 attracted participation from a large cross-section of Real Estate players spanning across sections of Developers, Architects, and Interior Designers from across India. Based on a multi-level evaluation by the Estrade team of analysts a total of 17 awards were presented at the Gala Awards night in Singapore. The Council Member of Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Ms. Zhang Jia Lin was among the key guests present on the occasion.
Among the Developer Community the award winners in project base category were - Purva Grandbay by Purvankara, Bangalore for Best Project in Non- Metro; Luxury Villa Project of the Year to Axis Tatvam by Axis Concept, Bangalore; Project Of the Year to Omkar 1973 by Omkar Realtors, Mumbai; VBHC Vaibhava by VBHC, Bangalore in the category Affordable Housing Of The Year and, Residential Property Of The Year to Godrej 101 by Godrej Properties, Mumbai.
The winners in Developer base category includes - Mr. Abhishek Mehta, Director from Urban Tree Infrastructures, Chennai for Developer of The Year-Residential; Best Innovative/Marque Developer of the Year to Mr. Dhirender Gaba, Founder & MD - Fairwealth Housing, New Delhi; Developer Of the Year to Mr. I P Inamdar, CEO Partner - Ahura Builders, Pune; and the Young Achiever's Award to Mr. Ketan Chandra, Managing Partner - Swaraj Homes Builders & Developers, Navi Mumbai.
The Architecture & Interior Designing category winners include - Architect for Innovative Design conferred to Ratan J. Batliboi Consultants for CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre – Vashi & Office Interior for CEAT office, Mumbai. Project of the Year - Interior to Pegasystems Inc. by DSP Design Associates Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai; Architect for Sustainable Design to ELDECO ANANDA by CP Kukreja Architects, New Delhi; Architect of the Year-Residential to The Latitude by VK:a Architecture, Pune; Leisure Architecture to Hotel Kathmandu by Studio Symbiosis, New Delhi; and Commercial High Rise Architecture to Prism Tower by A+I Design, Mumbai.
