Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Harvard Business School (HBS) will host an executive education program – Maximizing Your Leadership Potential—India from December 14-17, 2015 at the HBS-style classroom at Taj Land’s End in Mumbai. This program will enable participants to explore ways to adapt their leadership style to improve their ability to drive essential change, motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives, and compete successfully in the dynamic and growing Indian business environment.

“Due to the ever-shifting global economy and the increasingly competitive business conditions emerging in India, senior executives must be equipped to manage disruptive change and exploit new opportunities. Maximizing Your Leadership Potential—India is designed to help businesses take their operations to the next level by developing outstanding leaders,” said Professor Linda Hill, Wallace Brett Donham Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.

Designed for executives with at least 10 years of work experience and significant management responsibilities, the program is appropriate for Chief Operating Officers, Chief Administrative Officers, Managing Directors, General Managers and Divisional Directors or leaders. A diverse mix of industries, sectors, countries and cultures creates a dynamic exchange that draws on leadership experiences from across the globe.

Exploring the diverse elements of leadership—from managing yourself to developing "contextual intelligence," the program puts participants on the path to becoming the visionary leaders their company needs.

“Maximizing Your Leadership Potential—India will deepen participants’ understanding of what it takes to be an exceptional business leader in the 21st century. They will learn how to lead teams in times of growth and change, and they will explore ways to drive motivation and agility in their organizations,” said Professor Anthony Mayo, Thomas S. Murphy Senior Lecturer of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.

As with all HBS Executive Education programs, the India portfolio is taught by distinguished HBS faculty by using the renowned HBS case-study method. Faculty lectures, panel discussions and diagnostic assessment tools create a dynamic learning environment. The program aims to build long-lasting relationships and professional networks through close interactions within an elite group of Indian and global peers.
