Mr. Ramarao Velpuri, ex-CTO of Kenexa (an IBM company), has been appointed as an Advisor to STPL Global, the leading Payroll Application provider for SMB.
The appointment was announced by the MD of STPL Global, Srinivas Musunuri as a strategic decision to not only sustain the global top position of Paywings in its segment, but also to move into large enterprise segments. Palash Bagchi, CEO is thrilled to induct Mr. Velpuri, whom he considers as the Father of HRMS and Payroll Solutions.
Rama Velpuri is an authority in Oracle Databases and has published several best sellers on Oracle Technology. While at Oracle, and even today, Rama receives continuous recognition for the customer support line of business built from scratch at Oracle, which has become a corner stone in Customer Support orientation. At Kenexa, Rama was key in defining the product roadmap both organically and inorganically. IBM later acquired Kenexa. After Kenexa Technologies, Rama has served as an executive at CA Technologies. Currently he is part of the executive team at Capsilon Corporation and provides thought leadership. He also serves as an advisor to the board for multiple startup companies.
