The 2nd edition of CMS Asia, powered by Taboola, attracted a large set of delegates from the marketing, publishing and technology community. Hosted for two days (19th & 20th February) at The Westin, Gurgaon, the summit starred big names like popular RJ Khurafati Nitin of Fever 104-FM and Victor, the Director of Dhoom-3. No wonder the summit attracted over 350 delegates from various countries. The summit was Powered by Taboola.
Day 1:
Amrita Thapar, Content Leader of Genpact spoke of “Content Marketing: What to outsource, what to crowdsource, and what to keep in-house.” Sujatha Kumar, Category Director Marketing of Coca-Cola shared secrets of “Winning the youth audience with awesome content.” The day also featured a special session by Svati Bhatkal of Satyamev Jayate and Tara Sharma of The Tara Sharma Show. Nikhil Sarup of Kontent Cart raked up a 24-hour Challenge: Kick start your content marketing program.
Day 2:
The day opened to a Keynote speech from Victor, the famed Director of Bollywood blockbuster Dhoom-3, soon followed by famous RJ Khurafati Nitin of Fever 104-FM, who spoke of “Audio Content: Opportunities & Challenges.” The day also was peppered by some light-hearted stuff by Vijay Simha, Co-founder & Head of Kontent Café, who talked of “Data Porn: Content Marketing Lessons from Porn Hub.”
Other top speakers included Ran Buck, VP – Asia Pacific for Taboola, Sandeep Aurora, Director South Asia – Marketing & Development for Intel, and many top marketers from GSK, Pepperfry, Hero, Tata Communications, SAP, Unilever, Cap Gemini, and many more.
The two-day summit ended with CMS Asia Awards. Dove was awarded Content Marketing Brand of the Year for Real Beauty Sketches and other great work. EconomicTimes.com was awarded Content Marketing Innovator of the Year for The Elevator Pitch for Courtyard Marriott. 120 Media Collective was awarded Content Marketing Agency of the Year for its consistent content marketing work for various brands. Chilli Paneer Interactive Film for DBS was awarded Content Marketing Campaign of the Year.
