Songdew in association with RENAULT – The major automobile brand has launched RENAULT –Free the Music Campaign. Renault Free the music marks the second season of Free the Music series. The campaign is the biggest online launch pad for rising and promising artists and bands India to show case their talent and get career defining opportunities of promotion that can put their music career on a fast track.
The campaign would select 4 if the independent artists / bands who would launch their music through a series of promotions across media and would also get opportunities of live performances across various cities to take their music out to live audience.
The campaign is supported by media partners such as Hindustan Times, Radio City, Radio City Freedom, Radio One, GTPL network and Rockstreet Journal. Commenting on this initiative, Sunil Khanna ( Founder- Songdew) said - “ What differentiates this campaign from various other reality shows on TV is that the select artists and bands not only get to showcase their talent and music through this campaign but also get support to strengthen their career for the next 3 years with Songdew. This country is full of talented artists across all genres that deserve to be heard and that deserve to shine. This year, we are looking for great talent across all genres - be it solo folk artists, fusion artists, bands or instrumentalists. We are very excited to see the kind of music and talent that would come out of Free the Music this year. Stalwarts of Independent music scene - Baiju Dharmajan and Mame Khan are brand ambassadors of this initiative. Also, veteran singer - Suraj Mani has created a theme song for Free the music which getting a huge applause from audiences and fans. Commenting on the launch, Baiju Dharmajan said- “It is very heartening to see that Songdew and Renault are providing such opportunities to upcoming artists. I am very sure that it would help the selected bands a long way.”
