Carwale Gives On-Road Prices Without Asking for Personal Information
Users don't need to provide their name, mobile number or email address to check prices of cars

In a path-breaking move, CarWale, India’s largest auto portal, now also becomes India’s first and only auto portal to offer on-road prices of cars without asking users for their personal information – no name, no mobile number, no email address.  The motivation behind the paradigm shift is to do away with all barriers that hinder a user’s online car buying journey. With this move, the automotive portal sets itself apart from competitors who insist on taking a visitor’s personal details before showing them on-road prices of cars. 
                                
Speaking about the change, Mohit Dubey, CEO and co-founder said, “There is no value in forcing consumers to compromise their privacy just to monetise it. They also have the facility of calling a dealer directly or optionally leaving behind their contact information if they wish to be contacted by a dealer.
