At a private felicitation ceremony hosted by Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT), Shahzada Dr. Qaidjoher bhaisaheb Ezzuddin, Chairman of the Trust, felicitated Mr. Adil Zainulbhai on his appointment as the Chairman of the Quality Council of India (QCI). Mr. Zainulbhai is a Trustee of SBUT which has undertaken one of the country’s largest cluster redevelopment projects in Mumbai’s Bhendi Bazaar.
The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi picked the former McKinsey India chief to head QCI to give wings to his ambitious “Make in India” initiative. Zainulbhai still serves as a senior adviser to McKinsey India besides being on the boards of Reliance Industries, American Indian Foundation, Indian Institute of technology and Network 18, to name a few.
Shahzada Dr. Qaidjoher bhaisaheb Ezzuddin felicitating Zainulbhai warmly, prayed for his success in his endeavors in making India a great nation. He said he was confident that under Zainulbhai’s chairmanship, the quality of Indian products and services would be trusted and recognized globally.
Speaking at the felicitation, Mr. Zainulbhai said that he was extremely honored and humbled for having been given the responsibility to serve the nation. He added that Quality is critical to everything that is made in India and hoped that over the next decade India would set the benchmark for quality products and services for the rest of the world.
Zainulbhai commended the Saifee Burhani Upliftment Project saying “It is wonderful to see how this project has captured the imagination of people not just from India, but around the world. I believe nobody has ever done anything of this magnitude before”. He was confident the project would pave the path for other redevelopment projects in the country.
