Aide et Action is proud to announce the second edition of ‘Run for Inclusion 2014 - An Effort to Turn Dreams into Reality’’ on 23rd November 2014. As the name suggests, the Run aims to promote dignity, respect and inclusion of the poor and excluded sections of our society especially children (particularly girl child), persons with disability, populations forced to migrate under distress conditions, unemployed youth and women through access to quality education and better employment opportunities. The run is scheduled in 25 cities across India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.
Celebrities, local athletes, employees of corporate companies & government institutions, youth, civil society organizations, homemakers, students and others are expected to participate in this run to express their solidarity for the excluded and underprivileged sections of the society.
The first edition of the run held on 22nd December 2013 with the participation of more than One Lakh people from different walks of life across 50 cities in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Several prominent Corporate Companies, Media houses, Civil Society Organisations, Educational Institutions and Individuals had joined hands to make this run for a cause a huge success.
The run is one of the biggest community mobilization events for a Cause, in the South Asia region and is an extension of the Aide et Action International ‘Run Against Exclusion’ a Global campaign against ‘Exclusion’.
Aide et Action invites all the interested parties to join the Run and show their solidarity for the cause.
