Last year at the Enactus India National Competition 2013, the team from Delhi Technological University emerged as the National Champion and were chosen to represent Enactus India at the Enactus 2013 World Cup in Cancun, Mexico. Among the community outreach projects that they presented they shared with executives how they had empowered housewives in urban slums by teaching them the technique of screen printing on cloth bags and T-Shirts in one of their projects.

Enactus teams across the country are working on several projects focusing on different issues. Enactus Shri Ram College of Commerce’s (SRCC) Project Azmat "Repossessing Respect" is an endeavour to liberate manual scavengers by providing them with a sustainable source of livelihood through development of a micro-enterprise and facilitating the construction of proper toilet systems. They are working with a community of 20 women manual scavengers in Nekpur near Ghaziabad and have successfully rehabilitated them by making them proficient in detergent making and constructing 128 proper toilets in the village.

Another Enactus team from Delhi, Enactus Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies under their Project Akshar, build an entrepreneurial model for communities of economically backward deaf individuals, victims of drug abuse and victims of human trafficking and abandonment, by establishing a set up for the manufacture of low cost, environment-friendly notebooks by them.
