Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- UST Global, an information technology solutions and services company for Global 1000 enterprises, announced that it has been crowned the football champions of Technopark for the third successive year by winning GOAL 2013, the sixth edition of Technopark's annual football tournament organized by UST Global.

The final game between UST Global and Infosys held at the Technopark was a thrilling affair. The first half of the game was well dominated by Infosys, however the defending champions slowly came back into the game and urged on by their supporters, scored the first goal in the closing minutes of the first half. There was no let up in action in the second half. Both teams went close to scoring, but the goalkeepers stood firm.

The chief guest for the closing ceremony was Shri AM Sreedharan, the coach of the Kerala State Football team.
