New Delhi, Delhi, India, Friday, November 22, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- IILM endeavors to deliberate on emerging challenges and thrust areas of contemporary research through its series of activities. One of such event was HR Conclave, with academics and cultural blend, organized by IILM Greater Noida on November 15th, 2013.

The conclave intended to bring eminent and senior professionals from the industry who have significant achievements to their credit. It provided a forum for the students to listen to views and experiences pertaining to the emerging challenges in HR.

The primary theme for the panel discussion was "Employee Engagement: Tool for Retention" followed by Inter-college competitions.

Mr. Subhashish Bhattacharya,Director, Vriksh Consulting,talked about significance of Downward Delegation as an important tool to retain competitive employees in this dynamic era.

Mr.R. Naik, Head HRD, Anmol Bakers Pvt. Ltd. and Mohd. Khalid, Strategic Trainer, discussed the importance of employee retention in an organization. The session was enriched through active interaction between the panelists and the students.

The panel discussion was followed by the Inter College Debate where future professionals discussed on "Gen Y & Social Media". The event also aimed to explore the young minds through the poster making competition with "India 2020" as the theme, followed by Corporate Walk embarking the display of 'Corporate Attire 2013' at its best.

Mr.Deepak Jalan, Associate Director, Tech-Mahindra, judged the poster making, debate and corporate walk.

Army Institute of Management and Technology, IMS Noida, Vasundhra, Vishveshwariya Institute of Engineering and Technology also the part of the event. Various prizes were bagged by different colleges as well. World of Wonders, GIP, Steel, Van Huesen, Panami Tours and Travels, and Signature Salon were the sponsors for the event.

HR Conclave 2013 concluded on a high note making the event a grand success, in particular enriching the young minds pursuing management education at IILM.
