UAE Exchange Celebrates World Environment Day


Cochin, Kerala, India, Thursday, June 06, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- UAE Exchange celebrated the World Environment Day (WED) on June 5, 2013 across India, partnering with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). World Environment Day is an annual event and is aimed at being the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action by the UN.

The staffs of UAE Exchange spent their man working hours and visited the government schools near their branch offices and educated the students on the need to protect the environment and keep the surroundings clean and green. A special poster to highlight the importance of environment was designed and it was pasted in the school notice board. The staffs gave a brief talk to all assembled, distributed tree saplings procured specially for the activity and planted them in the school premises. The initiative was welcomed by the students and the school authorities.

UAE Exchange also promoted the message of protecting the environment through all the social media channels. This initiative was taken up well by the online customers of UAE Exchange and the Facebook page update of the day got good response from the fans.
