-- Hosted Contact Centre Service Provider of the Year (third year in a row)

-- Third-Party Managed Service Provider of the Year (second year in a row)

Frost & Sullivan honours Tata Communications with four awards in the Enterprise Telecom Services category at the 2013 Frost & Sullivan, India, Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Awards. The Awards ceremony, attended by the telecom industry's leading players, saw Tata Communications take the stage to receive four 'Service Provider of the Year Awards' for: 1) Enterprise Data, 2) Hosted Contact Centre Services, 3) Third-party Managed Services, and 4) Managed Video Conferencing Services.

Benoy C S, Director, ICT Practice, Frost & Sullivan, South Asia and Middle East says, "In 2012, Tata Communications has continued to pioneer innovative products and display leadership across its Enterprise Telecom portfolio. With strong emphasis on innovation in terms of technology, a vertically and horizontally-diverse service portfolio and strong global network, it has succeeded in offering best-in-class products and services together with a compelling value proposition to its Enterprise customers."

Currently in its 11th year, the 2013 Frost & Sullivan India ICT Awards acknowledge companies that have pushed the boundaries of excellence and risen above the competition to demonstrate outstanding performance within the ICT sector in India.

Sumeet Walia, Head, Global Enterprise Business, Tata Communications, says, "We are truly honored to receive these four prestigious awards. At Tata Communications, we aim to consistently deliver industry-leading service quality, which ensures that our customers can leverage our extensive, reliable networks. Our end-to-end solutions in the Enterprise space help our customers to stay focused on their core business. We are constantly striving to deliver a best-in-class service and experience to our customers, driving end-user loyalty."

Enterprise Data Service Provider Award: fifth consecutive win

As one of the major network providers with a core focus on the Enterprise data space, Tata Communications continues to take the number one position in the India enterprise data market with approximately 20 percent market share. In addition, over half of the all international traffic originating from India travels over its network.

Its leadership position, alongside consistent innovation in global standard next generation technology, including the world's first Ethernet-based low latency network and 100G network connectivity, makes Tata Communications a competitor to be reckoned with in the Indian data network landscape.

Hosted Contact Centre Service Provider Award: third year in a row

Tata Communications has a strong product offering for international as well as domestic contact centres and managed services. The company currently has the highest revenues and market share amongst all service providers in 2012.

Its portfolio of Contact Centre applications with cloud-based virtualization, such as its cloud-based platform for contact centres, keeps innovation and customer experience at the heart of its strategy.

Third-Party Managed Service Provider Award: second year in a row

Tata Communications continues to lead the third-party managed services market with an incredible revenue growth of 43 percent and a market share of 24 percent.

The company offers a rich suite of managed services that operate on its high-performance global network infrastructure, providing reliable access and excellent performance across India. Key contributing factors for this Award include the company's original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-partnership led-approach and its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) data centre certification status, evidencing its intent toward a green data center environment.

Managed Video Conferencing Service Provider Award

Tata Communications' drive to create a connected and open video ecosystem includes business-to-business video services, cloud-based services, and flexible, modular, managed services, as well as one of the world's widest-reaching Telepresence networks via intercarrier agreements and the largest public Telepresence room footprint.

These offerings culminate under the Global Meeting Alliance, an open business video ecosystem initiative spearheaded by Tata Communications, which provides participating enterprises and service providers with greater global reach, lower total cost of ownership, and a world-class user experience.

The Award contenders were judged based on a variety of parameters including: revenues, growth, market share, product diversity, and vertical and horizontal diversity. The judging process involved in-depth primary interviews of various industry participants and secondary research conducted by Frost & Sullivan analysts. An elite panel of jury members comprising some of the most prominent CIOs/CTOs from the industry evaluated the compiled data and incorporated the end-user perspective. Frost & Sullivan then presented the Awards to the companies that received the number one industry rank in each category.
