Aptara Sponsors 4th Annual Employee Art Exhibition
Local Digital Publishing Company Showcases Its Artists' Personal Works
Pune, Maharashtra, India, Monday, March 04, 2013 -- (Business Wire India) -- Aptara, a global leader in digital content and new media production announces its fourth Annual Employee Art Exhibition. Graphic artists and designers from Aptara will showcase their talents through this corporate sponsored exhibition. It will be featured in Pune's Ark Art and Frames Gallery, from Friday, March 08 through Sunday, March 10, 2013.
All works of art on display are available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going to the artists. Preview the works that will be exhibited.
The exhibit includes the work of over 50 artists, each with their own style, method, and medium. Some paint professionally and have had their work included in art shows across India. Others pursue their artistic passions purely for creative expression.
"It's a privilege to have the opportunity to showcase our artists' talents, and especially to share their works with our local community," commented Dev Ganesan, Aptara's President and Chief Executive Officer. "The variety of artistic mediums in this year's show is truly impressive."
The 2013 exhibit features new categories including photography, clay pottery, quilling jewelry, terracotta jewelry, paper quilling, and other interesting crafts. Even the venue itself will be a work of art, decorated with recycled papers.
Paintings will showcase portraits, conceptual scenes, realistic and semi-realistic landscapes, modern art and human figure studies, miniature mythological drawings and still-life pieces in various mediums including oils, acrylics, pencils, water colors, crayons, mixed media, digital art, and collages. This unique exhibit should be on all art lovers' must-see list.
"It's exciting to showcase the depth of talent that Aptara's artists and designers possess. While our clients benefit from their skills professionally, they have extensive creative reserves that are expressed in their personal works," said Shubhada Phadke, head of Aptara's Graphic Design division and one of the exhibit's organizers.
