Registration Opens for the 5th edition of In50Hrs
In50Hrs: An event about Ideas, Entrepreneurs & Startups Develop your idea into a prototype in one weekend

Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Saturday, July 14, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- :In50Hrs is a Weekend Hackathon organized by The Startup Centre ,where people passionate about technology get together to transformideas intoworking prototypes before a weekend (50Hrs) is out.

The 5th edition of In50Hrs is scheduled to happen between the 20th and 22nd of July, 2012, in Chennai. TheStartup Centre is inviting entrepreneurs, students, working professionals and anyone with an entrepreneurial streak or a product/ application idea. One can registerto participate in this edition by visiting http://in50hrs.com , on or before July 19, 2012.

There have been 4 successful editions of In50Hrs in Chennai with over 240 participants, having identified 20 startups out of over 100 prototypes.

Each participant will be mentored by agroup of young entrepreneurs who are running successful startups. The group includesDoraiThodla,iMorph; Siddhartha Govindaraj, Founder Silverstripe Software; KausikramKrishnasayee, Co-founder, Silverstripe Software; Asif Ali, Ex-Founder, ZestAds; GirishMathrubootham, Founder of Freshdesk; Preetham Venkky, KRDS (facebook's authorized development centre); Krishna Prathab, Xlabs Technologies; Shivakumar Narayanan, Net10; SenthilNayagam, Railsfactory, among others.

On the evening of Sunday, July 22, 2012, the participants will present theirprototypes to a jury consisting of Business Heads, Entrepreneurs and Venture Capitalists. This year's jury will feature Sam Mehta, Atlas Venturez; Rahul Chowdhri, Helion Ventures;Bharati Jacob, Seedfund; SubbuMurugan, Ventuno Tech; BejulSomaia, Lightspeed Ventures andLakshmanan Narayan, Unmetric.

In50Hrs is led by Vijay Anand, an Indian entrepreneur who is passionate about technologies related to mobile, VoIP, and emerging internet space. He is a founding member of The Startup Centre and also the founder of Proto.in. His other affiliations include Barcamp Chennai; Wikicamp, Blogcamp, Podworks, Open Coffee Club Chennai.

In50Hrs is conducted every quarter over a weekend and is scheduled to launchin Bangalore, New Delhi and Pune, later this year.
