Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, March 29, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- WNS (Holdings) Limited (NYSE: WNS), a leading provider of global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, has been honored with the 'Alpha Social Responsibility Award' for exceptional contribution to under-privileged communities, within the auspices of the WNS Cares Foundation (WCF). The award, instituted by the Alpha Group of Institutions, was presented to WNS by His Excellency, The Governor of Tamil Nadu, Dr. K. Rosaiah in a ceremony held at the Alpha Arts & Science College, Chennai, on March, 20, 2012.

WCF has won this prestigious award for its commitment and responsiveness to the needs of different stakeholders, development of innovative models to fulfill social responsibilities and the integration of CSR concerns within corporate functioning.
