CORRECTING and REPLACING: PVR Cinemas Voted as India's Most Trusted Brands in the Entertainment Sector: Brand Trust Report 2012
Gurgaon, Haryana, India, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- PVR Ltd., the pioneer of multiplex revolution in India, has made quite an impression on the nation after being voted as the most trusted brand in entertainment category, according to a study released by The Trust Research Advisory (TRA). The report has ranked India's first multiplex, at 217th place. PVR is the only brand in the entertainment category that made it in the 300 most trusted brands list.
The revelations were a result of a study, published by Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a leading research organization dedicated to understanding and simplifying concepts related to Trust. The study, compiled into a 140-page report titled "The Brand Trust Report, India Study, 2012" was launched at a press meet, held recently, in Mumbai. The Brand Trust Report, India Study, 2012 is the result of years of detailed research to understand trust which included several hundred hours of discussions with communication experts and behavioural scientists. It is the most intensive study on Brand Trust undertaken in the country, the study generated nearly 2million data points and 17,000 brands. Indian Statistical Institute helped create a statistically robust Brand Trust Index which has been used to hierarchically rank India's Most Trusted Brands.
