Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Saturday, January 14, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- BMW is the official car of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 scheduled on Sunday, 15 January 2012 from 0540 hrs onwards.

The BMW X6 will be the lead car for the 'Full Marathon' which commences from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 0540 hrs. The BMW X1 will be the lead car for the 'Half Marathon' which will be flagged off from Bandra Reclamation at 0615 hrs. The BMW 6 Series Convertible will lead the 'Dream-Run' on 15 January 2012 which will start from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 0900 hrs.

BMW Group India will cheer the runners of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2012 scheduled on Sunday, 15 January 2012 from three exclusive cheering zones at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Marine Drive (Opposite Intercontinental Hotel) and Marine Drive ( Islam Gymkhana).
