Pune, Maharashtra, India, Saturday, December 10, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Pallavi Mishra, MBA (Marketing), batch 2011-13 and Debi Prasad Dash, MBA (Finance), batch 2011-13 stood out to be the proud winners of the event Rural Crusaders at IIM Ahmedabad's International Business School Summit- Kronos 2011.

The event saw around 50 entries from some of the top B-Schools like FMS, JBIMS, IIM and the like. SCMHRD was among the ones that qualified for the final round along with IIM Ahmedabad, Indore, Shillong and Kolkatta. The event was judged by a panel of esteemed personalities from MICA and IIM Ahmedabad.

The participants suggested a marketing strategy to successfully launch common urban products in the rural markets. For the final round, the contestants deviced a marketing plan for sanitary napkins in rural India supported by financial facts & figures along with radio and video ads.

SCMHRD stood as the proud victors. The winners, Pallavi Mishra and Debi Prasad Dash were gifted prizes worth Rs. 30,000.
