LG Electronics on Sunday announced the winners of mega blockbuster Cinema 3D Game Festival 2011, held between December 9 (Friday) and December 11 (Sunday) in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

A platform to experience excellence, the three-day gaming festival was designed to give the customer the superior experience of gaming with LG Cinema 3D TV. A live-wire, thrilling competition bringing together the gamers from across the country, the LG Cinema 3D Game Festival was held in phases. On Friday and Saturday, the contestants in all the host cities got to experience the Cinema 3D TV first hand before participating in the elimination rounds. These rounds threw up the three finalists per host city for the big gaming clash on Sunday.

For the Grand Finale on Sunday, finalists of each city battled it out among themselves for the top gamer's place, the first and second runners-up positions. While the three top gamers from the five cities were awarded cash prizes of Rs 1 lakh each, the five first runners-up won LG's 32inch LED TVs apiece and each second runners-up won a Kinect game.

Gushing over his brand-new experience at the LG Cinema 3D TV Game Festival, 21-year-old student Ramandeep Singh, the New Delhi winner, said: "Gaming is a turn on for me but on LG Cinema 3D TV, it's just mind-boggling. While Ramandeep wrested the top position in Delhi, the first and the second runners-up were 23 year-old Karan, a student and 20-year-old Parth, a student respectively. In all, 25000 gamers and gaming enthusiasts participated in this first-of-a-kind gaming do.
