Japan's leading consulting firm Nomura Research Institute to establish base in India in Partnership with Market Xcel
Nomura Research Institute (NRI) has decided to acquire 25.1% of Market Xcel Data Matrix's share to develop its consulting business in India

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Friday, October 07, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Market Xcel Data Matrix Pvt. Ltd., one of India's leading market research firms, has announced its decision to partner with Nomura Research Institute (NRI), a leading provider of consulting services and system solutions from Japan. This partnership enables NRI to develop a strong base for research and consulting business activities in India. NRI has decided to acquire 25.1% stake in Market Xcel Data Matrix with an aim to establish a subsidiary in the Indian market and secure a research base in eight cities in India. This will enable NRI to form an indigenous and full-fledged organization for research and consulting services.

NRI's Indian subsidiary will start operating in November, 2011. At first, it will have 10 staff members, but this figure will rise to around 30 after five years. They will prepare business strategies for Japanese companies in the automobile industry and so on.
