Jayashree Nagarajan J and Shobana S from L & T Infotech emerged as the winners for their case study on "Journey from Generic to Customized PPM Solution". The 1st Runner Up position was duly awarded to Mosesraj R and Smitha Thumbikkat from Collabera Solutions for their paper titled "Bridging the Eagle's Eye and Worm's View". There was a tie for the third spot 2nd Runner Up position was shared by Gurdarshan Singh Brar and Praveen Kurdukar from Wipro Technologies for their paper "Practical Approach to Build and Deploy PPM", and Aravind Raman from Robert Bosch for his paper "CART Based Integrated Process Performance Model". The awards were given away at a glittering ceremony at the Chancery Pavilion, Bangalore during the Awards Evening at HMBP 2011.

After the preliminary screening round, a jury comprising of three eminent industry members, viz., S M Balasubramaniyan , Vice President - Mission : Quality, Wipro, Sankararaman Dhandapani, Consulting Partner, QAI and Sumita Hari, VP, Quality, Deloitte, short listed the top 10 papers which were then presented at the conference. The papers were evaluated on concept (30%), content (30%), presentation (20%); and value contribution (20%), for a total score of 100 points.
