PVR Opens its 154th Screen with the Largest Multiplex in Surat, Gujarat
Surat, Gujarat, India, Thursday, August 25, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- PVR Ltd., the leading entertainment company in India, today announced the launch of its 8 screen multiplex at the Rahul Raj Mall with maximum screen share in Surat. PVR enters the third city of Gujarat after Vadodra and Ahmedabad. With the launch in Surat, PVR today stands at 154 screens in 35 cinemas in 20 cities across India.

The eight screens multiplex has the maximum number of screens in Gujarat with the capacity of 1753 seats. The launch in Surat is a part of PVR's organic growth strategy of pan India expansion and increasing its presence in Tier II cities. Audiences in Surat will be treated to a new cinematic wave with 3D screens that PVR Cinemas will offer.
