Go Green, the Attero Way...Log onto Atterobay
Launches first of its kind Mobile take-back programme

New Delhi, Delhi, India, Thursday, July 28, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Attero Recycling, India's only end-to-end electronic waste recycling company is strengthening its portfolio of e-waste services and solutions with the launch the fist ever organized mobile take-back service through their website- www.atterobay.com today. Through this unique initiative, Attero is encouraging the recycling and re-use of mobile phones.
Atterobay.com provides an excellent solution to the hassled user who is clueless about how to responsibly dispose off his old cell phone. It is an out-of-the-box idea conceived by Attero wherein it promises to incentivize the consumer for giving off the old phone. Attero even provides free shipping of the cell phones.

It is a simple three step process. All one has to do is log on to www.atterobay.com and follow the sequential order -

Step 1 - Enter model number and check value of the phone
Step 2 - Agree to type of payment and request for collection of phone
Step 3 - Payment to the consumer

Here the customer can choose from multiple options including vouchers from our "Green partners" like Ferns n Petals, United Colors of Benetton, Costa Coffee and more or get cash in exchange of the phone. There's even a great option for the 'green conscious' - of having a tree planted & maintained in the customer's name!

As electronic waste is mounting day by day, it has become a matter of great concern as it is adversely hampering the earth. Attero has been a thought-leader in the arena of electronic waste recycling with zero landfill system. India had 874.68 mobile users in 2010 and the shelf life of a mobile is not more than eighteen months. In such a scenario, this mobile take-back programme has come not a day too soon as it is highly relevant and apt step in the current scenario.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rohan Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Attero Recycling said, "I am very excited to launch this never-before initiative as the growing number of mobile phones is a serious concern today and it was high time that someone addressed it. Atterobay.com is a fairly simple and user friendly portal which comes to the rescue of a layman who is concerned about the environment but does not know how to effectively contribute to reducing carbon footprint. Our site is built around a compelling proposition - it incentivizes a person through tangible benefits and also makes him or her feel good about the contribution to the green cause, which is the intangible gain. I hope that with this initiative, we are able to make significant progress in our venture which is entirely focused on e-waste recycling and environment."
