Bosch Power Tools launches its latest range of Lithium-Ion powered cordless and corded lawn and garden tools in India

Chandigarh, Punjab, India, Tuesday, July 12, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Bosch Power Tools today unveiled its latest range of corded and cordless innovative lawn and garden tools, powered by Lithium Ion technology. The tools were launched by Mr. Frank Toma, Managing Director of Bosch Lawn and Garden Ltd and Mr. Vijay Pandey, Vice President, Bosch Power Tools India. The launch was followed by a demonstration of the light weight, easy to use tools in the sprawling lawns of the Taj Hotel, Chandigarh.

The Bosch Lawn & Garden tools are priced between INR6000 and INR59000 and will be made available at exclusive stores in Chandigarh. The tools will also be rolled out across select stores and retail outlets across India. Customers can also call on toll free number 1800 425 8665 for any queries on the new range.

The new range of Bosch Power tools comprises of a lawn mowers, cordless shrub and grass shear (ISIO 2), cordless trimmer, cordless hedge cutters, cordless chain saws, shredders and the corded range of these products. These tools are specially designed for homes and gardens of up to 10,000sq ft area. The Bosch Lawn & Garden ranges of corded tools are lithium-ion powered, easy to use, light weight and ergonomically designed. These cordless tools eliminate the need for a cable thereby offering unrestricted movement without the hassle of untangling and with no risk of cutting the cable. In addition cordless tools are easy to start compared to conventional petrol tools and are environment friendly.

Bosch is expanding its existing range of lawn mowers with the new Rotak43. This product is ergonomically constructed with an adjustable handle to improve body posture and reduce muscle strain while moving. This is the first garden product ever to achieve an ergonomic certification from the prestigious AGR, Germany that issues certificates of safety and health for brands like Merecedes and Opel.

The new ISIO 2 Cordless Shrub and Hedging Shear is 20% lighter with sharper blades and LED Display battery status indicator allowing for effortless cutting of bushes and small leafed hedges. The ISIO 2 comes with a unique anti-blocking system that allows for continuous cutting through harder branches. This product makes for the perfect choice of a gift by a man for his woman.

The AHS 54-20LI Cordless Hedge Cutter is the world's first 36 volts hedge cutter with an anti-blocking system for continuous and effortless cutting of midsized and big hedges. This product is best suited for larger gardens.
