G4S Raises Funds for Old Age Home with 'COFFEE MORNING' at British High Commissioner's Residence


New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, February 09, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- A gala morning was organized by G4S at the British High Commissioners' Residents on 9th February, where colourful stalls were selling books, cakes, confectionaries, ceramics, jewellery and other items to the guests.

As part of our commitment, our annual fundraiser 'Coffee Morning' for Grant Govan Memorial Homes was held on 9th of February, 2011. In its 14th year, the event was celebrated at the residence of the British High Commissioner in Delhi.

A number of dignitaries and officials from diplomatic missions and embassies were present on the occasion. G4S employees and the residents of the Memorial home gathered on the lawns of the British High Commissioners home to enjoy a day of fun, frolic and gaiety. The event was hosted by Lady Arabella Stagg, wife of the British High Commissioner.

Mr. David I. Hudson, MBE from G4S supported Grant Govan Homes all these years with the intent to enable residence for Anglo-India community. Mr. Neil Prasad, Regional Managing Director - South Asia, G4S is now enthusiastic to take it forward.

G4S has been supporting Grant Govan Memorial Home financially and through the maintenance of infrastructure. We also provide technical, housekeeping and security services to the residents at the premises. This Home was built in the memory of Mr. R P Grant Govan, first president of the BCCI who died in a tragic fire accident. The homes are a retirement abode for Anglo-Indians with limited means. Set in the heart of Old Delhi, it is residence to India's oldest Anglo-Indian community.
