LG Electronics, the consumer durable giant, today announced a major change in its top-most management profile in India. Mr. Soon H Kwon will replace Mr. Moon B Shin as the new Managing Director of LG Electronics India. Mr. Shin is taking over as the Global Head - Sales & Marketing, Home Appliances at Seoul, South Korea-- LG Electronics headquarters.

Prior to this, Mr. Soon H Kwon was the Global Head, LG Electronics Business Solutions. One of the top contributors to LG's international business for over 25 years, Mr. Kwon has been responsible for the company's growing revenue and building LG Business Solutions Company as a leading B2B supplier.

Mr. Kwon served as the Managing Director at LGE Australia in 2009, a significant driver to its market leadership, sales and brand growth in the continent. His earlier stints within LG Electronics include as the Corporate Marketing Vice-President in Korea (he was in charge of overseas marketing), and senior positions in the US and Canada markets.
