Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Friday, December 03, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- * 46% of PR clients are unlikely to recommend their agencies

* India's best known Tech PR firm is Text 100

Paul Writer released its report on the state of the Tech PR landscape in India at the Great Indian Marketing Summit. Based on a survey of over 100 respondents, the report is intended to be the authoritative guide for technology companies researching a PR firm.

Key findings of the report include:

. 46% of clients are unlikely to recommend their agencies to others
. India's best known PR firms with a technology focus are Text 100, 20:20 Media, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, The Practice and Perfect Relations . These firms led in top of mind awareness, though usage patterns and satisfaction levels did not necessarily follow awareness
. "Responsiveness" is the single most important attribute sought by clients

The report, "The Red Book of Tech PR" provides data on the important aspects of PR, as well as tips and insights on identifying the right-fit firm for each organization. The Book profiles India's top 10 PR firms focused on the technology space. The report may be downloaded from www.paulwriter.com (requires registration) or you can request a copy from paulwriter@paulwriter.com

Methodology:

The survey was published online. 826 respondents visited the survey but since all did not complete the mandatory sections, only 107 responses were used. The number of respondents for any question ranges between 55 and 83.
