Integrating Edge Blending Technology:

The Actis Boardroom integrates Edge Blending technology which allows you to turn an array (rows and columns) of projected displays into a single screen with extremely high optical resolution. The solution blends smoothly, with the onlooker unable to tell that the screen is being powered by multiple projectors. As a result it is possible to project extremely large images covering entire walls, project over curved surfaces etc. The large screen size especially aids participants that are seated in the rear half of large meeting rooms. The other advantage is the ability to view multiple sources simultaneously - eg. multiple computers, far end video conferencing, near end video conferencing, document camera etc - aiding in quick decision making by senior management.

Edge blending technology brings the benefits of videowall technology at a lower cost, and more importantly without ANY seams in the projected image.

The video conference camera automatically looks at the speaking particpant, ensuring eye-contact and fluidity during large group video conferencing. Audio & video conferencing facilities allow multi-party calls in any combination. The audio system is optimised such that people can speak naturally and still be audible clearly at the remote location. Other sources include a DVD player, and Document Camera to share paper documents or 3D objects. One can also share any content visible on screen with the remote location during a video conference call. Preset lighting solutions are provided that serve a variety of meeting / conferencing needs. The boardroom is also equipped with motion sensors that switch off lights automatically when the room is not in use, contributing to energy savings.
