New Delhi, Delhi, India, Monday, October 04, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- Citibank N.A. today announced the launch of the Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card. This new Card differentiates itself by offering frequent flyers a 'universal' mileage platform that enables them the unique freedom and flexibility to earn miles on their travel on over 50 domestic and international airlines such as Jet Airways, Kingfisher Airlines, Singapore Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa, Spice Jet and Indigo, amongst others. The key benefit of the Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card is that it sets customers free from the limitations of choosing one loyalty program over another. The feature-rich Card offers a superior earn rate of 10 PremierMiles per Rs.100 on all airline spends and a preferential interest rate. The Card will be launched in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
. Premier Earn Rates: Cardmembers earn 10 PremierMiles for every Rs. 100 spent on airline ticket bookings made at airline-owned websites, airline booking counters or via booking options on the PremierMiles online portal and 2.5 Miles on all other spends.

. Premier Privileges: Citibank PremierMiles Cardmembers enjoy access to over 700 VIP lounges at airports across the world, dining experiences at over 800 restaurants and special offers at PVR Cinemas

With an annual fee of rupees Five Thousand, the Citibank PremierMiles Cardmembers receive a first-year activation bonus of 5,000 PremierMiles. An annual spending of Rs.4 Lakh in a year earns cardholders a bonus 2,500 PremierMiles. All non-airline purchases on the card earn customers 2.5 PremierMiles for every Rs.100 spent.
The PremierMiles platform is also distinguished by the ease and convenience it offers for redemption of earned miles.
