Bhaskar, who joins Sapient's India leadership team, will be responsible for leading Sapient's people and organizational strategy across the company's three offices in India, which represent more than half of the company's global workforce.

Bhaskar's appointment comes during a period of remarkable growth at Sapient, driven by increased demand for the company's unique marketing and technology service offerings across all business segments - including Sapient Global Markets and SapientNitro. The company experienced 36% year-over-year revenue growth in the second quarter 2010 and recently announced an expansion of its facility space in Bangalore and plans to nearly double the number of people working there by year's end. Prior to joining Sapient, Bhaskar served as Human Resources Director at Microsoft Corporation, where he led HR for Microsoft's Sales & Marketing Services Group. He has deep experience and expertise in the areas of organization design, talent management, executive assessment and coaching, learning and development, and employee relations.
