QAI's ITSM Leadership Awards 2010 Announced
TCS wins top honors, with Infosys and Honeywell Grabbing the First and Second Runners Up Positions

Bangalore, Karnataka, India, Wednesday, September 08, 2010 -- (Business Wire India) -- QAI Global Institute (www.qaiglobalinstitute.com), the workforce development division of QAI (www.qaiglobal.com) announced the much awaited IT Service Management Leadership Awards 2010 at the 5th International Colloquium on IT Service Management (ITSM 2010) on 6th September 2010 in Bangalore.

Ms. Anju Saxena from TCS emerged as the winner for her paper titled "The Two faces of Service Management - ITIL® V3 & CMMI® for Services". Mr. Arvind Raman, Mr. Gautam Nadkarni and Mr. Rishi Pattnaik from Infosys Technologies were chosen as the first runners-up for their paper titled "ITSM Thunderbolts in the Cloud". The second runner-up spot was awarded to Mr. Vijay Periasamy and Mr. Thameemul Ansari K M from Honeywell Technology Solutions for their paper titled "An Integrated Approach for Effective IT Service Management through ITIL® and LEAN". The awards were given away during the colloquium at the Le Meridian, Bangalore on September 6, 2010.

For the awards, over 70 Author Intent Forms were received. After the initial technical screening by an internal panel of four members at QAI, which short listed the entries down to the best 25 top papers and best practices and papers received from all across, were finalized for next rounds. Further analysis and evaluation brought up the top 10 papers, which were then chosen for presentation in the colloquium.

The papers were evaluated on the criteria of the concept (30%), content(30%), presentation (20%); and value contribution (20%), for a total score of 100 points. Based on the scores in the final rounds, top 3 papers were selected for the IT Service Management Leadership Awards, which were evaluated by Mr. Dinkar Koshik, QAI and Mr. Mark Flynn, APMG-International.

Ms. Anju Saxena from TCS, on winning the award commented, "I am deeply honored to receive the ITSM Leadership Award, 2010. My paper is a reflection of TCS' desire to provide innovative solutions to our clients and is based on the experience we have gained in various consulting projects.
