Bangalore headquartered Lotus Clinical Research Academy (LCRA) has announced the launch of BioQuizitive 2010 - The National Life Sciences Quiz. BioQuizitive is India's first national-level quiz competition in the life sciences space and is open only for working professionals. BioQuizitive will be conducted by well-known quizmaster Prakash Subbarao of the Bangalore Quiz Group.
BioQuizitive will spread over a period of 22 days and will travel across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore, the primary pharma hubs in the country. The first leg of BioQuizitive 2010 kicks off in Mumbai on 4th September and moves to Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore on 5th, 18th and 25th of September respectively. The winners from the regional rounds will qualify for the National Finals to be held at Bangalore on 25th September.
Commenting on the launch of the first-of-its-kind National Life Sciences Quiz, Mr. Sudhir Pai, Managing Director of Lotus Clinical Research Academy said, "The launch of BioQuizitive is an extension of LCRA's commitment to engaging and enhancing an individual's knowledge, awareness, horizon and opportunities available in pharma, clinical research, healthcare, biotechnology, medical devices and allied fields of life sciences and healthcare. Prizes worth a total of INR 7 lakhs are up for grabs during this 22-day 4-city quizzing extravaganza.
