Mindteck (India) Ltd today announced that it has retained its ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification status for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 13485:2003 and simultaneously upgraded to ISO 27001:2013. The organization is among the top few companies to achieve the latest version of the ISO 27001 certification.
Mindteck was assessed by the British Standards Institution (BSI), which reviewed the capability of their Quality Management Systems in meeting the ISO standards.
- ISO 9001:2008:- This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meets customer, applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- ISO 13485:2003:- This International Standard specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer requirements and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices and related services.
- ISO 27001: 2013:- This International Standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization.
In awarding the triple certification, BSI conducted annual surveillance programs for a three-year period. During the third year, BSI carried out a strategic review to check if the triple standards are genuinely integrated throughout the company.
