CA Technologies Strengthens its Workforce Management Strategy
Launches 'Center of Excellence' at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Thursday, November 08, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- CA Technologies India and Amity, have collaborated to set up CA Technologies "Center of Excellence" for CA eHealth and CA Spectrum. The Center of Excellence, which will be housed at Amity Campuses across the country, will bring to engineering students an opportunity to learn some of the most advanced Network and Infrastructure Management solutions from CA Technologies, while also benefiting them with broader career prospects.

CA Technologies will offer programmes on CA eHealth and CA Spectrum which are most widely used technology solutions by enterprises in the Infrastructure Management space. The courses would be available to students as part of regular semester programmes and also as elective / optional programmes.

As the competition in the IT Industry stands today, students with theoretical knowledge often face challenges in getting accustomed to the pace and needs of the real time environment. As a matter of fact, the industry spends a lot of money and time on training campus hires and there is genuine need to hire job ready resources, to reduce the training spend under the current economic scenario. Details about the courses offered:

CA Spectrum Infrastructure Management: Monitors the state of managed elements including devices, host systems and connections. Status information such as fault data from these elements is collected and stored. CA Spectrum analyzes this information to track conditions within the network that it monitors. If an abnormal condition is detected, the event is analyzed and alerts are sent. CA Spectrum presents the user with possible causes and proposed solutions to the problem.

CA eHealth Performance Management: Discovers and collects performance data from existing devices, agents, and management systems in an organization's network. It provides real-time monitoring tools and reports for the resources. The standard CA eHealth product includes an integrated database, a console interface that provides scheduling and element grouping capabilities, and a web interface that allows users to view and run reports and real-time monitoring tools from a web browser.
