Fujitsu Semiconductor Launches FRAM New Product Base on Wide Range Voltage from 2.7V to 5.5V


New Delhi, Delhi, India, Tuesday, October 16, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Fujitsu Semiconductor Asia Pte Ltd (FSAL) announced today a new addition to its V series, MB85RC256V. So far, the company has released FRAM products of V series covering capacities of 4Kbit, 16Kbit, 64Kbit and 256Kbit. MB85RC256V is Fujitsu's first FRAM product that operates in voltages ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V, which benefits design in areas that require components of wide voltage range. As a world leading non-volatile ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM) provider, Fujitsu will continue its efforts providing products of larger capacities in response to the market demands.

The FRAM product combines the non-volatile data memory characteristic of ROM with the advantages of RAM, featuring infinite times of read/write, fast read/write cycle and low-power consumption as well. The Fujitsu FRAM product series support various types of interfaces and capacities, including serial and parallel interfaces of industrial standard. Fujitsu FRAM products are superior to other non-volatile memories in high speed read/write access, high endurance and low-power consumption. FRAM products are widely used in various advanced segments, such as metering, industrial control, automotive electronics as well as financial POS etc., where high speed read/write access, high endurance and low-power consumption are essential.
