Ingersoll Rand Launches Trane Residential Solutions to Bring Social Technology to Indian Homes with Interactive Devices
Air conditioning and Security Devices now get interconnected
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Ingersoll Rand (NYSE: IR), a world leader in creating and sustaining safe, comfortable and efficient environments, launched Trane Residential Solutions in India. Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will usher in a new era of transforming Indian homes through interactive devices that make technology social.
Trane Residential Solutions in India will offer a range of premium Mini Split Air Conditioners from 3 to 5 * (star) in capacities ranging from 1, 1.5 and 2 Tons and an Electronic Main Door Mortise Lock. The products are interconnected, and can interact with each other through a new generation wireless technology.
Designed to meet the needs of Indian homes, these devices offer simple, yet technologically-evolved levels of interactivity, control, customization and operations for modern living. Trane Interactive Home Devices are supported by Ingersoll Rand's technology legacy and a deep understanding of Indian consumer needs. The company plans to expand to 21 cities nationally by 2014.
