Canon India Further accelerates the "What Makes us Click" Campaign
Hosts a three city promotional drive and organize Facebook contest
New Delhi, Delhi, India, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- Canon India Pvt. Limited, India's No 1. Complete Digital Imaging Company successfully held a three city promotional drive in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore on Saturday to further reach out to the youth with their latest campaign. Also, cashing in on the "shoot and share" emotion Canon launched their 'What makes us click' Facebook contest.
Canon India with their latest campaign "A to Z of What Makes Us Click" aims to reposition to the youth appeal. Going back to basics - the click of the camera and how one tells a story through that click is the underlying design of the campaign. The whole new concept of image capturing with the youth is what Canon wants to highlight through this initiative.
In order to reach out to a wider audience, Canon had organized a 3 city activity in leading malls in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore with highest footfalls. The activity was targeted at the young working population with differing buying drivers and hence the venue was apt to reach out to the target audience in metros. To further engage with the target audience, Canon "What Makes us Click" contest on Facebook has also been organized. The viewers have to guess the A to Z of the commercial in quickest possible time and they get a chance to win a new PowerShot digital camera every day. The fact that users can share the contest participation with their friends after they participate is a simple way to spread it amongst their social network. Mobile ringtones have also been created with the catchy 'what makes us click' jingle for maximum impact.
