He will be accountable for orders, sales, marketing programs, channel partner development in Asia, UK and US.

Anand has extensive functional experience in operations, business development, strategic partnerships and leading business units with multibillion dollar groups like Novartis, inVentiv and Apollo as well as with mid-sized firms like Sun Pharmaceuticals. Anand's global experience in developing clinical research, data management and other allied businesses is expected to provide a significant thrust to the regional and global growth initiatives at EA.

Prior to joining EA, Anand was working with SIRO Clinpharm as Vice President, Business Development responsible for Americas, and earlier for Asia Pac & UK. He was part of the senior management team that transformed the company in 3 years from a single country, service provider to a multinational, full service clinical research and clinical IT outsourcing firm. He spearheaded alliance formation with complimentary service providers and transformed the business model of the company from being dependent on single project - single country contracts to program level and multinational deals.

In this role, he will report to Dr. Surinder Kher, CEO of Asia and will leverage EA's momentum in Europe and US working with CEO's in Europe and USA.
