The first event kicked off yesterday at Ferozepur, Punjab. Today, the event is organized at Amritsar and Patna. Other cities that will be covered are Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Patiala, Chandigarh, Ambala, Rohtak, Sri Ganga Nagar, Jaipur, Bhilwara, New Delhi, Meerut, Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gangtok, Siliguri, Asansol, Ranchi, Raipur, Chhindwara, Bhopal, Indore, Anand, Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Bhuj. Each IAP will consist of a 75-minute presentation, followed by a question-answer session. During the programme, CDSL & DSIJ officials will explain the audience on the Demat system, on how the stock market functions, the best investment practices, on how to make the most from investing and will distribute booklets to the participants, which will contain a wealth of information on investments. Entry is FREE and it's a good opportunity for ALL to keep abreast of the stock markets in a simple and subtle language.
