UTV Interactive Consolidates its Operations
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- UTV Interactive, the digital arm of UTV Group announced today, that it has consolidation its operations within the division. The consolidation of operations has been initiated to take advantage of the burgeoning interactive entertainment and to create synergies within the company so as to streamline and bring in more efficiency.
Lavina Tauro, earlier, Vice President - Mobile Content and IVR, will now Head the mobile division - 2G for UTV Interactive. Sameer Pitalwala who has been recently appointed as business head- 3G will continue to handle all 3G initiatives for the division.
While Zarina Mehta who is currently the Chief Creative Officer for UTV Broadcasting, will also play the same role for UTV interactive. The consolidation will call for all these heads reporting into MK Anand, CEO, UTV Interactive, who is also currently the CEO for UTV Broadcasting, the broadcasting arm of UTV. These key personnel in their new capacities will continue to operate with their respective existing teams in the division.
