Riverbed Appoints New Managing Director for India
Industry Veteran Anil Batra to Lead Riverbed's Sales Activities within the Region

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 -- (Business Wire India) -- Riverbed Technology (NASDAQ: RVBD), the IT performance company, announced today that it has appointed Anil Batra as Riverbed's managing director of India. Batra brings over thirty years of operations and sales experience in the technology industry in both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies in the US and India. In his new role, Batra will be responsible for leading Riverbed's sales efforts within the region.

Batra also worked as President of Cisco Systems India, where he launched the regional division and was the executive responsible for sales, marketing and partner alignment.
