New Delhi, Delhi, India, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 -- (Business Wire India) -- The JECRC University was inaugurated by Shri Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan in Jaipur. The event marked a new landmark development t in the history of JECRC foundation.

Dr. Malcolm Portera, Chairman JU Advisory Board, Former Chancellor-University of Alabama, USA, who presided the function, formally announced the technology transfer from University of Alabama and setting up of the state-of-the art Computational Simulation and Enabling Technology Lab at JECRC University, Jaipur.

ShriVivekBansal, Secretary, All India Congress Committee was the Guest of Honour and he applauded the government's initiatives in playing host to the development of the State.

The University is providing excellent infrastructural facilities. Spread over an area of 32 acres, it has received wide acceptance by the students as the University has attracted students of different backgrounds from around 17 states. This will surely help in the quality delivery of education and the students will get exposed to varied cultures. Such a commitment for quality delivery of education was made by Mr. O P Agrawal, Chairman, JECRC University. He also emphasized the focus towards community development and assured that the University will focus and continue the Foundation's legacy towards Research & Development.
